About
You be the difference celebrates how children and adults with cerebral palsy (CP), are making a difference in life, or how someone has made a difference in their life. Families are also invited to share a story on behalf of a family member with CP.
- Tell us your story in words, a photo or video and share how you are being the difference at school, work, home or in your community. (A family member may also enter on behalf of the person with cerebral palsy.)
- You can enter as an individual with cerebral palsy, or as a group of people with cerebral palsy. You can choose from the following categories:
- Individual or group – written story
- Individual or group – photo story
- Individual or group – video story
- Individual or group – written story
- Entries open Monday, 27 July 2009. The written and video categories close Monday, 2 October 2009. The photo category closes Friday, 25 September 2009.
- Each state will select its most inspiring story in each category, and one of these stories will feature in Woman’s
Day magazine, in October.

The most inspiring story in this category will be recognised with a $250 Westfield Parramatta gift voucher. The finalist will also be featured in i am magazine. - Photo Story
Forty (40) of the most inspiring photographs will be selected and framed for the Perspectives in Print Exhibition, Tuesday 13 October, Luna Park. Australian landscape photographer, Ken Duncan OAM, will present one of his framed photographs to the most inspiring photo entry. The finalist will also be featured in i am magazine.
