How to enter

Sharing your story is easy

1. Go to Share your story and follow the instructions.  Family members may enter on behalf of the child or adult with cerebral palsy – how they are making a difference in the world or how someone has made a difference to them.
   
   
2. You can enter as an individual with cerebral palsy, or as a group of people with cerebral palsy and choose from the following categories:
   
   
   • Individual or group – written story
     
     
   • Individual or group – photo story
     
     
   • Individual or group – video story
     
     
     
3. Select how you want to tell your story:
   
   
   • In 3000 characters (about 600 words) (+ profile photo/avatar)
     
     
   • In a photo + up to 1500 characters (about 300 words) for a caption (+ profile photo/avatar)
     
     
   • In a video + up to 1500 characters (about 300 words) for a caption (+ profile photo/avatar)
     
     
     
4. Once submitted your story will go live within the next working day.
   
   
5. Email www.youbethedifference.com.au to your family and friends who may comment on your story.
   
   
6. Entries open Monday, 27 July 2009.  The written and video categories close Monday, 2 October 2009.  The photo category closes Friday 25 September 2009.
   

Each state will select its most inspiring story. One of these stories will feature in Woman’s Day magazine in October.

The top finalist in each category will be announced by each state on this website at the end of the campaign.
