Judging criteria

Our expert panel of judges from creative and welfare backgrounds, will consider each story on its own merits and select the most inspiring story from each category.  The NSW judging panel includes a professional video journalist, a writer, and Australia’s leading landscape photographer, Ken Duncan OAM. 

The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The categories are:

  • Individual or group – written story

  • Individual or group – photo story

  • Individual or group – video story

 

NSW finalists in each category will be recognised at the Perspectives in Print Exhibition, Tuesday 13 October at Luna Park.  These finalists will also be featured in iam magazine.

Each state will select its most inspiring story.  One of these stories will feature in Woman’s Day magazine in October.
