MONIQUE SIMPSON BOCCIA ATHLETE STORY

Boccia is a great game because it allows me to compete on a level playing field. It also gives me physical fitness as well as the chance to meet friends. My ultimate goal is to represent Australia one day in the Paralympics. This year I won my first Australian title and I was very proud of my achievement. I was able to share this experience with my teammates, friends and family. Eventually one day I have to travel overseas and represent Australia. I also enjoy the chances that Boccia provides me to live a very rewarding life. Boccia allows me to continue building both physical strength and confidence.
