Victoria
Celebrating the difference you make!
Children and adults with cerebral palsy (CP) have shared their stories, photos and videos with Australia about how they’re making a difference in life or how someone else has made a difference to them.
Congratulations to everyone who has participated and shared their story on the ‘You be the difference’ website.
Each state has selected its most inspiring story which you can view on each state page. Woman’s Day will feature one of these entries to conclude the campaign.
Take a look at these stories - every one will inspire and motivate you!

Scope
A not-for-profit organisation established in 1948, Scope is leading innovation in the provision of services for thousands of Victorian children and adults with CP and other disabilities.
Victorians are characterised by a diversity of interests and aspirations, and Scope’s wide range of services aim to empower and support people with disabilities to reach their potential in welcoming and inclusive communities.
For some people, this may mean attending day and lifestyle centres where they can enjoy social, educational and leisure activities.
While for others, it could mean enjoying the fulfillment of participating in meaningful paid employment, or receiving support tailored to best suit their individual lifestyle needs.
This is achieved through specialised therapies, such as speech pathology, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, supported accommodation and employment, respite, community partnerships and a leading research team dedicated to identifying ways to better support people with disabilities.
Scope is also committed to overcoming the personal, structural and attitudinal barriers that can prevent people with disabilities from participating in the community.
Scope inspires Victorians to See the Person, Not the Disability.
Scope provides services from 94 sites across Victoria.
